Whether a student's future is in hi-tech, business, or politics, Diplomacy and International Communication in English will develop the skills needed to participate effectively across cultures in the 21st century world.
In this major (הרחבה), students will learn to work as a team, understand and use mass media and other social platforms, develop language awareness, consensus building skills, conflict management skills, and develop abilities in critical and innovative thinking. All of these skills are integrated into a course of study that emphasizes an appreciation of cultural diversity and its impact on the worlds of business and foreign relations.
Diplomacy and International Communication in English is a major that offers opportunities never before available. In the primary course, students develop interpersonal communication skills, intercultural competence, information and media literacy and study negotiation techniques and international relations. At the extension level students study conflict management and resolution studies. This rigorous program prepares motivated students to apply the knowledge and skills whether they hope for a future in science, community service, politics or business.
